A Brief History
Both history researchers and aviation enthusiasts should make time to visit the Avro Heritage Museum. The museum honours the rich history of A.V. Roe & Co (Avro), one of Britain’s first aircraft manufacturers, and is situated at the former Woodford Aerodrome near Stockport, Greater Manchester.
